MuahStory brings classic GMS v83 MapleStory to your browser. The game starts loading when you open the home page, so you can head straight to the login screen.

From your first visit to your first character
Create your account
If you are new, follow the login screen's account-creation instructions. Choose a username and a password unique to this account. Keep your password private.
Sign in and begin
Log in with your account and follow the in-game prompts. Select a world and channel, then create or select your character. Click the game to give it keyboard focus.
Account setup and any additional sign-in prompts are handled inside the game. Follow the instructions shown on your login screen.

A current browser and an internet connection
Desktop play
Start with an up-to-date Chrome or Edge browser and a keyboard. JavaScript and graphics acceleration must be available. Close resource-heavy tabs if the game struggles to load.
Click inside the game before using movement keys. Your character's key settings determine its shortcuts; the controls guide covers the starting layout.
Mobile play
The game provides touch controls for phones and tablets. Turn your device sideways for the landscape game view. Use the on-screen movement controls and open Controls to configure your hotkeys.
Mobile performance and fullscreen support depend on your browser and device. Use a desktop browser if your mobile browser reports missing capabilities.
Before you start
Do I need to download a MapleStory installer?
No native game installer is needed. MuahStory runs in the browser, which still downloads the client and game assets during play. Keep an internet connection available.
Why can the first visit take longer?
The browser needs to fetch the client and initial game data. Game assets are cached when browser storage is available, so later visits can reuse them. Clearing site data or using private browsing can remove that benefit.
Where do I find help if the client will not load?
Read the loading and connection guide. If an error appears, use the game's crash-report action and share the report with an administrator in the MuahStory Telegram community.
Is MuahStory an official MapleStory server?
MuahStory is an independent community private server. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nexon.
